Core Values may sound like just another business buzz word, but here at Seek2Insure we take them seriously.

In a market where selling health insurance is seemingly easy, we strongly believe that Expats deserve better. Core Values are an essential part of making sure a team is fully aligned when it comes to our offering, and how we behave in the marketplace.

Seek2Insure was started back in 2015, when our founder Darren Sharp was working directly for one of the major health insurers based in Bangkok. Darren dealt with an array of brokers and agents and was not impressed with what was being offered. Many intermediaries were unprofessional and he felt that the best interests of the client was not always at the core of intermediary consideration. As a result, he decided to set up Seek2Insure. 

What are the core values that Seek2Insure follow?

If asked to summarise our 3 main core values they would be:

  1. Integrity.
  2. Compassion.
  3. Fairness.

How do these points relate to health insurance?


Integrity is vital in our industry. We are helping people to come to decisions which ultimately can mean the difference between life and death. If your health insurance fails to deliver when you need it most, then the consequences can be huge. 

We have always been acutely aware of the responsibility we have to be moral, and to provide our clients with options which deliver. For this reason, we do not work with every health insurance provider out there.

We choose our providers carefully. Do they pay claims? Are they easy to deal with? Can we access key decision makers? If we have any doubts on these aspects, we simply do not work with the provider.

A good reputation in business takes years to build, but at the same time, it can end overnight if we fail to deliver when our clients need us most.


Health insurance is a personal subject. Whilst our main role is to help our clients identify the best value health insurance plans in the market, we are also on the front line when it comes to claims.

We understand that when people are sick, or their children are sick, that they demand quick decisions and transparency. We go the extra mile to ensure our clients receive this.

Being treated fairly is at the heart of what insurance is all about.

As an intermediary this means making sure that the providers we use treat our clients fairly when it comes to making claims and offering renewal premiums.

It also means that we remind our clients to meet their side of the bargain and declare medical histories where required and act in good faith. This means that going forward there are no surprises if insurers uncover undeclared pre-existing conditions.
